Brest Metropole: funding for a business project

Brest Metropole supports innovative economic projects as well as property investment in existing business parks. An annual call for projects structures part of these.

In brief

Brest Metropole supports innovative economic projects as well as property investment in existing business parks. An annual call for projects structures part of these schemes.

Innovative projects and transitions

A scheme can fund up to 50% of the eligible costs of an innovative and sustainable economic project, either as a grant (minimum €5,000) or as a repayable advance (minimum €20,000). It is open to all economically-oriented organisations in the area, through a call for projects with a selection committee.

Business property in business parks

Direct investment support targets the renovation, extension or optimisation of premises in former business parks (zones d'activité économique, ZAE), reserved for small and medium-sized enterprises whose project is linked to job creation. The sectors concerned include industry, craft trades, technical services to industry, logistics and construction.

Key takeaway

Brest Metropole combines support for innovation (grant or repayable advance via a call for projects) with property assistance in business parks for industrial or logistics SMEs. Check the timetable of the current call for projects.
