How to fund photos and videos that showcase an arts and crafts business?

The quality of visuals can help an art craftsperson showcase their creations, workshop and skills on a website, catalog or digital channels. CMA Pays de la Loire has set up, together with the Region, a scheme providing financial support for image-capture services carried out by an outside provider. The support covers spending on photography, video and product staging. The terms must be confirmed before ordering the service, particularly because the official pages consulted are not consistent on the annual ceiling.

To help Métiers d'Art professionals strengthen their digital visibility by using outside providers who specialize in image capture.

Coverage of the image-capture service that helps highlight and showcase the business, its manager or its products, with a view to distribution on a digital medium. Services covered:

Capture and editing of digital images; Photography and creation of a portfolio with descriptions; Production and editing of films or videos; Staging of objects, products, etc.

Step 1

Contact the CMA's Pôle Métiers d'Art to check that the business and its activity are properly registered and that the scheme is open for the current year.

Step 2

Define the communication objectives and select an outside provider. Have a detailed quote drawn up describing the visuals, the deliverables and their digital use.

Step 3

Have the applicable ceiling, the minimum quote amount, the rate, the required documents and the payment mechanism confirmed before accepting the quote or starting the service.

Step 4

Follow the mandate process described by the Pôle: according to the application file, the Pôle may pay the provider's invoice directly and then bill the business for the remaining balance. Follow the instructions and supporting documents of the version currently in force.

The €1,000 ceiling published on the current page differs from the €400 ceiling shown on another page and in the 2025 application file. The minimum quote of €200 including tax (TTC) appears in the 2025 PDF form and must also be confirmed. Check the cumulation of de minimis aid, the validity date of the form, and whether approval must be obtained before starting the service.

Who can benefit from this aid?

Arts and crafts professionals who meet the registration criteria of CMA Pays de la Loire's Pôle Métiers d'Art. Some versions of the file also mention EPV-labeled businesses that are members of the relevant regional network; the Pôle must confirm the current criteria.

What expenses are covered?

Photography services, video capture and editing, film production, portfolios, and product staging intended for digital distribution.

What is the ceiling for this aid?

The currently published page states €1,000 per calendar year, but another page and the 2025 file indicate €400. The applicable ceiling must be confirmed before signing the quote.

Can this aid be requested every year?
