Communauté urbaine d'Arras supports businesses in their development and relocation projects. Its involvement includes identifying land or buildings, monitoring real estate projects, connecting businesses with the relevant public services, and putting together a financing package.

Projects that can be supported

• Setting up and real estate: search for suitable land or buildings and support with construction-related procedures.

• Investment and growth: identification of partners and funding suited to the project.

• Agri-food: referral to the technical expertise of the ADRIANOR center of excellence, notably for new products, processes and standards.

• Health and the silver economy: referral of innovative projects to the EURASENIOR incubator.

• Innovation and creation: support from the area's incubation and entrepreneurship organizations.

• Social and solidarity economy: a local grant scheme for ESS initiatives exists, to be examined according to its regulation and the nature of the project leader.

Identified financial grants

The CUA announces support for structuring the financing of relocation projects. However, the economic development page does not provide a general investment grant scale applicable to all businesses. The existence of a direct grant must therefore be assessed for each project.

For social and solidarity economy organizations, the CUA has a dedicated grant application page. The criteria, eligible expenses, amounts and timeline must be checked in the regulation in force before presenting them as settled.

Procedures

Contact the economic development department, describing the activity, real estate needs, investment amount, planned jobs and funding already considered. For an innovative project, specify the relevant sector in order to be referred to the appropriate technical or incubation organizations.
