Financing your project in Indre-et-Loire: agriculture, drought, and transition
Grants in Indre-et-Loire: the CASI 2026 fund, organic farming, agri-environmental measures (MAEC), the ICHN, and regional schemes. Statuses, criteria, and official sources.
Introduction
In Indre-et-Loire, farms have access to schemes mainly run by the State, the CAP, and the Region, to which departmental aid may be added depending on the project. The 2026 drought emergency fund is an exceptional measure: its sector-specific criteria, indicative amount, and deadline must be checked on the online procedure before applying.
Who is this guide for?
This guide is for businesses, farms, founders, buyers, and local economic organisations based in the department. Criteria vary by scheme: legal status, sector, precise location, size, expenses, timeline, and any co-financing.
Understanding who funds what
Distinguish between aid provided directly by the Département, schemes co-financed with the Region or the State, national programmes accessible locally, and loans or support from partner operators. Being located in the territory does not automatically turn a regional, national, or private grant into a departmental one.
Direct departmental aid
The schemes listed below are attributed to the Département only when an official source establishes this. For each grant, check the regulations in force, the legal beneficiary, eligible expenses, the rate, the cap, the dates, the required documents, and the application channel. Where the source does not confirm that the scheme is open, the fact sheet explicitly states this.
Agricultural and rural aid
Farms may be eligible for schemes dedicated to setting up, investment, agroecology, diversification, livestock farming, or financial difficulties. Criteria may include active-farmer status, location, the products concerned, a PACAGE number, a technical appointment, a CAP application, or a call for projects. Identify the actual processing body and the co-funders.
Business creation, employment, and local development
Honour loans and support schemes are not grants: they may be awarded to the individual, be repayable, and require prior coaching. Employment-integration aid generally targets specific groups or organisations. Territorial programmes may be reserved for local authorities and public bodies.
Complementary funding
In the absence of a suitable departmental scheme, look into aid from the Région Centre-Val de Loire, the State, ADEME, Bpifrance, FranceAgriMer, and European funds, depending on the nature of the project. The corresponding fact sheets must retain their actual funder and must not be duplicated as departmental aid.
How to prepare your application
Prepare a project description, a financing plan, quotes, recent accounts, a registration extract, headcount, turnover, the site address, and sector-specific supporting documents. Before incurring any expense, check whether the application must be submitted beforehand and whether expenses already incurred are excluded.
Checking the status of the aid
An information page or a budget announcement does not guarantee that a scheme is open. Check the application period, the available budget envelope, the regulations, and the current form. Keep closed programmes in the historical record but do not present them as currently available.
Combining aid and State-aid regime
The rules for combining aid depend on the scheme, the State-aid regime, and whether the same expenses are being funded. Only mention de minimis, the GBER, or agricultural rules if the sources specify them. Otherwise, state that combinability must be checked in the regulations.
Points of caution
Do not confuse a grant, a repayable advance, an honour loan, a guarantee, a public procurement contract, support, and funding from an operator. A sum awarded to an association, a local authority, an event, or a platform is not an individual grant automatically available to every business.
Schemes identified in this batch
The accompanying tracking table presents five schemes or leads qualified from institutional sources. State schemes, CAP schemes, and departmental programmes are kept distinct; unknown or closed statuses are not presented as open.
