Financing your project in the Aube: agricultural grants, local food and territorial schemes
Identify the Aube department's schemes, agricultural support, local food initiatives and complementary funding. Conditions and official sources.
Introduction
In the Aube, funding opportunities depend on the applicant and the nature of the project. The Département publishes grant decisions, supports local food initiatives and works with associations and local stakeholders. Since the territorial reform, direct aid for businesses' economic development falls in principle under the Region or the EPCIs, unless a formal delegation applies.
Who is this guide for?
This guide is intended for businesses, farms, associations, project leads and local stakeholders based in the department. Eligibility depends on the scheme, the applicant's status, the sector, the location, the expenses and the timeline.
Understanding who funds what
Distinguish between aid directly provided by the Département, co-financed programmes, State or Region aid, and partner support schemes. A grant voted for the benefit of an association or a platform does not automatically become an individual aid for each business.
Direct departmental aid
The entries below only include schemes for which the institutional source establishes a link with the Département. Named grant decisions, calls for projects and referral portals are identified as such; they should not be presented as windows open to everyone.
Agricultural and rural aid
For farms, check the measures for setting up, livestock farming, investment, the environment, processing and short supply chains. CAP, FEADER aid, crisis measures and DDT schemes remain attached to their actual funder.
Business creation, employment and territorial development
Employment integration or support measures may target specific groups or organisations. They do not necessarily correspond to a grant paid to the business. For economic investments, check the Region/EPCI competence and any possible delegation.
Complementary funding
Look into aid from the Grand Est Region, the State, the EPCIs, ADEME, Bpifrance, FranceAgriMer and European funds when the project matches. Partner schemes must retain their actual funder and should not be duplicated as departmental aid.
How to prepare your application
Prepare a project description, the financing plan, quotes, accounts, a registration extract, headcount, turnover, the site address and sector-specific supporting documents. Check whether the application must be filed before expenses are incurred.
Checking the status of the aid
An information page or a budget decision does not prove that a scheme is open. Check the deadline, the rules, the remaining budget, the form and the legal beneficiary. Closed schemes remain on record for historical purposes, without being presented as available.
Combining aid and State aid regime
The rules on combining aid depend on the rules and the applicable State aid regime. Check combination rules for the same expenses, de minimis aid and regional/European co-financing before applying.
Points of caution
Do not confuse a grant, aid in kind, a commercial outlet, a loan, support, funding for an operator and public procurement.
Schemes identified in this batch
The associated tracking tab lists five schemes or leads drawn from institutional sources. Departmental schemes, national aid and partner aid are kept separate; unconfirmed items remain to be verified.
