Financing your project in the Loire: agriculture, short supply chains and transition

Discover agricultural grants in the Loire: land, livestock buildings, on-farm processing, water and energy savings, with conditions and co-funders to verify.

Introduction

The Département de la Loire publishes several targeted agricultural grants. This page distinguishes departmental schemes from operations co-financed by the State, the Region and FEADER, and flags the published thresholds and caps that must be confirmed in the regulations applicable at the time of filing.

Who is this guide for?

Businesses and farms with a project located in the Loire département, according to the criteria specific to each scheme. Some leads are reserved for farmers, local authorities or businesses located in a revitalisation zone.

Understanding who funds what

Separate grants awarded directly by the Département from State schemes, regional/FEADER funding, honour loans (prêts d'honneur) and support services. The presence of a measure on this page does not mean it is open, nor that the Département is its direct funder.

Direct departmental grants

The schemes identified in official sources are detailed in the tracking tab. Check the applicable regulations, the eligible beneficiary, the nature of the expenses and budget availability before making any commitment.

Agricultural and rural grants

Agricultural measures may cover productive investments, land, processing, livestock protection or climate adaptation. Some fall under the State/ASP or are co-financed with the Region and FEADER.

Business and employment financing

Depending on the area, honour loans or revitalisation schemes may exist via partner operators. Loans, advice and support services must be distinguished from grants.

Complementary funding

Review relevant regional, national, FEADER and France 2030 grants, as well as intercommunal schemes. Do not present a partner or national scheme as a standalone grant from the Département.

How to prepare your application

Prepare your SIRET number, beneficiary identity, project description, quotes, financing plan, accounts, headcount, timeline and sector/land-related supporting documents. Check whether the application must necessarily be filed before expenses are incurred.

Checking the status of the grant

Check the filing deadline, the call currently in force, the available budget envelopes and the official form. Closed campaigns are kept for historical reference and must not be presented as open.

Combining aid and aid scheme

Rules on combining aid depend on the legal regime, the expenses funded and the co-funders. In the absence of a published rule, note "to be confirmed in the regulations".

Points of caution

Do not confuse a grant, a loan, a State scheme, European co-financing, a closed call, support services and assistance reserved for local authorities. The legal beneficiary's criteria take precedence.

Lines without a matched official identifier remain unvalidated.
