Financing your project in Alpes-Maritimes: agricultural grants, investments and local development
Identify grants in Alpes-Maritimes: departmental schemes, agriculture, investments, transition and partner funding. Conditions and official sources.
Introduction
In Alpes-Maritimes, the departmental grants guide identifies several agricultural and economic schemes, notably the Aid for Investment and Modernisation of Farms (AIME), grants for CUMAs and support for agricultural coordination bodies. The Green Deal also covers energy and tourism topics, but each scheme has its own beneficiaries and rules.
Who is this guide for?
This guide is for farms, businesses, collective structures and project leads based in the Alpes-Maritimes department. Eligibility depends on each set of rules and the beneficiary's status; some grants are reserved for local authorities, CUMAs, associations or professional bodies.
Understanding who funds what
Separate grants awarded directly by the Département, schemes co-financed with the Region or FEADER, national grants and funding from partner operators. The location of the business does not turn a regional or European grant into a departmental grant.
Direct departmental grants
The tracking below lists schemes identified on official portals. For each one, check the rules, the legal beneficiary, the eligible expenses, the rate, the cap, the timetable and the submission channel. A presentation page alone does not confirm that an application window is open.
Agricultural and rural grants
The schemes identified notably concern setting up, modernisation, industry sectors, collective investments and rural infrastructure. Crisis measures and European calls must keep their legal funder and their own deadlines.
Territorial investments and transition
Some measures target municipalities, EPCIs, CUMAs or collective infrastructure leads rather than each individual business. Check the eligible beneficiary before including the grant in a private financing plan.
Complementary funding
Look at schemes from the Région Sud, FEADER, the State, ADEME, Bpifrance and inter-municipal authorities depending on the project. Each line must keep its legal funder and its own status.
How to prepare your application
Prepare the project description, the financing plan, quotes, recent accounts, registration details, headcount and turnover data, and sector-specific supporting documents. Check whether expenses must be committed after submission or after approval.
Checking the status of the grant
Check the update date, the deadline, the available budget, the rules in force and the submission channel. Closed calls remain useful for historical purposes but must not be displayed as currently available.
Combination rules and aid scheme
Combination rules depend on the scheme, the applicable State aid scheme and the funded expenses. Only state that combination is possible if the source or the rules confirm it; otherwise, indicate "to be verified in the rules".
Points of caution
Do not confuse a grant, a repayable advance, a loan, a guarantee, an exemption, support services and a public contract. A grant to a collective structure or a local authority is not a guaranteed individual grant to a business.
Schemes identified in the batch
Lines without an official identifier matched in the reference database remain unvalidated tracking entries and are not counted as validated grants.
