Financing your project in Côtes-d'Armor: targeted grants, agriculture, culture and tourism

Identify schemes in Côtes-d'Armor, targeted agricultural grants, cultural and tourism calls for projects, and complementary funding.

Introduction

The Département des Côtes-d'Armor publishes several targeted grants, notably for farmers in difficulty, cultural associations, local authorities and specific tourism projects. These schemes do not constitute a general investment grant for all businesses. The guide must distinguish direct grants from the Département, grants reserved for associations/local authorities, historical programmes, and regional or national grants.

Who is this guide for?

Farmers in difficulty, cultural and heritage associations, local authorities and EPCIs, social and solidarity economy stakeholders, and tourism project leads responding to a specific call. Commercial businesses should check that an application window explicitly admits them.

Understanding who funds what

The Département funds or processes certain targeted schemes. Official pages indicate emergency aid for farmers in difficulty, cultural support for associations, and calls for tourism projects. A historical scheme such as the COVID Résistance fund must not be presented as a current grant. Annual calls must be checked against their deadline.

Grants and schemes to examine

The schemes listed are leads based on the Département's institutional pages. Some grants are reserved for associations, local authorities or farmers in difficulty. A dated call-for-projects page must be checked to determine whether the campaign is still open.

1. Direct grants and targeted schemes

• Grants for farmers in difficulty: case-by-case emergency aid of €3,500 or €5,000, subject to a recovery plan and validation. • Support for territorial artistic and cultural projects: associations, municipalities and inter-municipal authorities. • Heritage enhancement: heritage-focused associations. • Grants for cultural events and literary events: associations and local authorities, subject to criteria of duration, regularity and content. • 2026 tourism call for projects on accessibility of heritage, cultural and leisure sites: deadline indicated as 7 September 2026, therefore past as of 13 October 2026.

2. Territorial and sector-specific grants

The grants identified concern agriculture in difficulty, culture, heritage, reading, inclusive tourism and association projects. These application windows are sector-specific and must not be treated as a general grant for productive investments. Tourism businesses should read the specific criteria of the calls and confirm whether a commercial company is admissible.

3. Regional, national and European funding

Supplement with the Région Bretagne, EPCIs, chambers of commerce and trades, State and EU agricultural application points, and national operators. Former crisis funds or co-financed schemes should only be reactivated in the catalogue if a new edition and a current set of rules are published.

Potentially fundable expenses

For targeted agricultural grants: farm recovery measures according to the file. For cultural projects: creation, distribution, outreach, heritage or events meeting the rules. For tourism: adapting the offer to people with disabilities under the 2026 call; the submission date has passed and the campaign must not be presented as open.

Eligibility conditions to check

Check the applicant's status, location in Côtes-d'Armor, sector, project quality, regularity of events, budget documents, timetable and committee decisions. For agricultural aid, check the recovery plan validated by the CDOA (departmental committee on agricultural orientation).

Timetable and status of application windows

The 2026 tourism call for projects cited by the Département set a submission deadline of 7 September 2026; this date has passed as of 13 October 2026. Agricultural and cultural grants are subject to their own criteria and decisions; confirm dates and budgets before submission.

Documents to prepare

Depending on the grant: presentation file, forecast budget, financing plan, quotes, articles of association and SIRET number, cultural programming details, proof of location, and for farmers in difficulty, economic data and a recovery plan validated by the CDOA.

Research method

  1. Consult the official factsheet; 2) identify the eligible applicant; 3) check whether the campaign is open; 4) read the criteria and documents; 5) distinguish direct grant, support services and historical scheme; 6) archive the dated evidence.
