Financing your project in the Tarn: business aid, agriculture and investment
Identify aid for businesses, agriculture and investment in the Tarn, with conditions, funders and status to verify.
Introduction
This guide lists the schemes and funding channels identified for the Tarn département. It distinguishes between aid from the Conseil départemental, State schemes, regional aid and partner programmes. Institutional pages may describe policies or historical schemes without guaranteeing that a scheme is open today: before submitting any application, check the regulation, the timetable, the beneficiaries, the eligible expenses and the cumulation rules.
Who is this guide for?
Businesses, tradespeople, shopkeepers, farms, CUMAs, professional organisations and project leaders may be concerned depending on each scheme. The beneficiary's status is decisive: aid reserved for local authorities, a sector organisation or a group does not automatically apply to an individual business.
Understanding who funds what
Distinguish between direct aid from the Département and a State scheme, regional or European aid, and an information relay. The fact that a departmental page describes a policy does not prove that a scheme is open. Check the regulation in force and the authority processing the application.
The main leads identified
• CASI 2026 emergency fund – Tarn — Exceptional cash-flow aid for farms weakened by heatwave, drought or wildfires in 2026. Announced deadline: 21/10/2026. A State scheme, not aid of the Département's own. • Comprehensive farm audit (AGEA) – Tarn — Multidimensional audit for farms in difficulty; a national scheme processed locally. • Short-term and agricultural disaster aid – Tarn — Tracking page for crisis agricultural aid and disaster campaigns. Several 2026 schemes already closed; check each campaign. • France 2030 calls for projects – agriculture, food, forestry and water — Prefectural relay towards national calls for projects on agricultural prototypes, reducing pesticide use and agri-food resilience. • Mediterranean Agriculture Plan – AARC — The Tarn falls within the scope of the Mediterranean Agriculture Plan; support for AARC-labelled territorial initiatives and sector projects.
Creating or taking over a business
For non-agricultural projects, check the economic schemes of the Département, the EPCI and the Region. Aid for property, investment or retail may depend on the territory, the size of the business and the applicable aid regime.
Financing an agricultural project
For farms, distinguish between setting up, equipment investment, agroecological transition, short-supply-chain marketing and crisis support. Criteria may vary by sector, age, setting-up status, level of vulnerability and expenses.
Collective and sector-wide funding
CUMAs, producer organisations, groups and territorial project leaders may have access to specific rules. Check who must legally be the project leader and whether the expenses relate to operations, investment or coordination.
Crisis and disaster aid
Emergency and disaster funds are dated, targeted and sometimes limited to certain municipalities or sectors. Closed schemes remain useful for historical reference, but must not appear as open aid.
Documents to prepare
Prepare the SIRET, proof of status, project description, non-committed quotes if required, financing plan, certificates of public aid already received, and sector-specific documents. Do not commit to expenses before confirming the applicable rule.
Cumulation and timetable
Check the aid regime, cumulation with other funding, the eligibility dates for expenses, submission deadlines and the project completion date. De minimis or co-financing rules may apply.
How to check your eligibility
Confirm with the processing department that the scheme is open, that the business or farm is within the target group, that the expenses are eligible and that the application will be submitted on time. Ask for the regulation and the official list of documents.
Sources and level of evidence
The sources listed in the SOURCES tab are mainly institutional. Each lead still needs to be matched to a unique catalogue identifier and a current regulation before being marked as validated.
Limitations of this factsheet
This factsheet is a scouting guide, not an eligibility decision. Amounts, caps, dates and statuses may change; outdated information is explicitly flagged as such.
Call to action
Check my eligibility for public aid: identify the schemes matching the SIRET, the sector, the location and the project, then check the official rules before submitting.
Update
13/10/2026 — Research batch 163–165. Review required as soon as a regulation or a scheme is updated.
