Financing your project in the Vosges: grants, culture, agriculture and transition

Identify grants and aid in the Vosges: departmental, regional and national schemes suited to your project.

Introduction

The Département des Vosges offers targeted schemes and calls that vary depending on the target group. Cultural grants form an identifiable scheme, with the 2027 campaign announced until 31 December 2026; other schemes may target municipalities, associations, farms or environmental players. Businesses must explicitly check their eligibility and must not confuse departmental grants, regional schemes and national aid.

Who is this guide for?

Businesses, associations, farms, local authorities and project leaders, depending on the scheme; each grant remains reserved for the categories specified in its regulation.

Understanding who funds what

Distinguish between direct departmental aid, regional or national funding, European funds and public procurement. A listed programme is not necessarily open, and a public contract is not a grant.

Aid and schemes to examine

The items below are leads documented from institutional sources; check the criteria, the opening date, the caps and the required documents.

1. Departmental cultural grants — 2027 campaign

The guide to cultural aid presents the schemes, beneficiaries and terms; applications must be submitted by 31 December 2026 at the latest, with special rules for heritage projects. Official source: https://culturecnous.vosges.fr/outils/guide-des-aides-du-departement/ Point to watch: Primarily aimed at eligible cultural players; a prior appointment is required for a first application. Check the factsheet for each scheme.

2. Aid for municipalities and territorial projects

Identify the investment regulations and departmental schemes intended for municipalities and groups. Official source: https://www.vosges.fr/ Point to watch: Beneficiaries are often public bodies; check the programme, the budget year, the submission date and the eligible expenses.

3. Agricultural and rural support — Région Grand Est / FEADER

Agricultural investment, modernisation or diversification depending on open calls. Official source: https://www.grandest.fr/ Point to watch: Regional/European schemes, not departmental ones; check the calls currently open and farm status.

4. ADEME — ecological transition

Potential schemes for businesses, local authorities and research bodies in energy, the circular economy, brownfield sites and air quality. Official source: https://www.ademe.fr/nos-missions/financement/ Point to watch: Eligibility and whether a scheme is open depend on the scheme itself; do not promise funding without reading the regulation.

5. Public contracts from the Département

Identify public tenders as a commercial outlet for suppliers and service providers. Official source: https://www.vosges.fr/ Point to watch: A market opportunity, not a grant.

Verification method

For each lead: identify the regulation and the current edition, check beneficiaries, eligible expenses, rates/caps, timetable, cumulation and the start-date rule. An unconfirmed status must remain "to be checked".

Territorial complements

Supplement with aid from the intercommunality (CA/EPCI), the Region, the State, national operators and relevant European programmes.
