Département du Morbihan

Departmental funder; distinguish direct aid, delegated competences and funding provided by partners.

The Département du Morbihan offers a range of public aid, but the official portal consulted highlights in particular aid for local authorities and solidarity policies. The Territorial Solidarity Programme, reactivated on 1 July 2026, funds public facilities and excludes projects with an economic development purpose such as business real estate and business parks. In the Capital OS reference database, the lines linked to the departmental funder are Initiative honour loans run by local platforms: they should be classified as partner funding and not as direct departmental aid.

The presence of a scheme in the catalogue does not prove that it is currently open, eligible, or legally linked to the Département.

Depending on the scheme: municipalities and other local authorities for public investment aid; beneficiaries of social aid or inclusion organizations for the relevant policies. Businesses are not eligible for the PST for economic projects.

Check size, sector, legal status, location, expenses, combination rules and submission date on the applicable official fact sheet.

Public investment aid and sector-specific/solidarity schemes; Initiative honour loans for Pays de Lorient, Pays de Ploërmel, Pays de Pontivy, Pays de Vilaine and Vannes (separate partners; attribution to the Département to be corrected/clarified in the reference database).

Distinguish grant, repayable advance, honour loan and employment aid; specify the operator that processes and disburses the funds.

First identify the exact scheme, obtain the current regulations and form, then contact the processing department before committing any expense.

Starting too early may jeopardize eligibility; keep proof of submission and the version of the regulations consulted.

Territorial Affairs Department — 02 97 54 80 26 for the PST and aid to local authorities. For a business project, first direct the enquiry to the EPCI, the Région Bretagne or the relevant local Initiative platform.

Contact details to be reconfirmed on the official fact sheet for the relevant scheme.

No general direct departmental aid for businesses has been confirmed in the official sources examined. Do not turn Initiative honour loans into direct aid from the Département. The full official guide to aid should be reviewed to identify any specific sector-based schemes.
