Grand Paris Seine & Oise (GPS&O): grants for a business project
The Grand Paris Seine & Oise urban community supports economic development in western Île-de-France: Entrepreneur Prize, Seine Aval Funders Committee, support for relocation.
In brief
The Grand Paris Seine & Oise (GPS&O) urban community is a player in the economic development of western Île-de-France. Its area of 73 municipalities stretches from Conflans-Sainte-Honorine to Mantes-la-Jolie, passing through Poissy and Les Mureaux, with several industrial hubs along the Seine valley (automotive, aerospace, mechanical engineering, logistics). GPS&O works on business hosting, the development of activity zones, support for entrepreneurship and the promotion of local economic sectors, notably via the Seine Aval area.
Areas of action
Business creation and development. GPS&O supports entrepreneurs, young businesses and SMEs wishing to grow their activities, through referral to support structures, funding networks and entrepreneurship support schemes.
Innovation and industry. The area hosts significant industrial activity and is part of the Seine Aval "Territoires d'industrie" initiative. Projects involving industrial modernization, technological development and process transformation can be referred to the relevant economic and financial partners.
Ecological transition. Businesses developing decarbonization, circular economy or resource-consumption-reduction solutions can receive territorial support and be referred to specialized schemes.
Business relocation and real estate. GPS&O takes part in the area's economic planning and the promotion of activity spaces, for businesses looking for premises, land or expansion opportunities.
Financial schemes identified
GPS&O Entrepreneur Prize. A territorial competition rewarding creation, innovation and economic development projects. The 2027 edition provides for applications from September 17 to December 15, 2026, with six categories: Idea-Maker Prize (€3,000 and incubation), Creator Prize (€10,000), Innovative Business Prize (€10,000), Environmental Impact Prize (€10,000), Public Prize (€2,000) and GPS&O Entrepreneur of the Year Prize (€15,000). This is a selective competition, not an automatic grant; location, age and tax/social situation conditions should be checked in each category's rules.
Funders Committee — Seine Aval Territoire d'industrie. A scheme aimed at facilitating the referral and review of the area's industrial projects by financial partners. Access conditions and available instruments depend on the project.
GPS&O Rebond 2 Program. A program listed on the official procedures portal; availability, beneficiaries and financial conditions should be checked before presenting it as an available grant.
Businesses concerned
Business founders, startups, micro and small businesses (TPE), SMEs, industrial businesses, innovative structures and environmental project holders, depending on the criteria specific to each scheme. Being located in the area is a decisive criterion for several programs.
How to apply for funding?
Present the activity, location, investment program, timeline and funding needs to the Economic Development Department. For competitions and calls for projects (including the Entrepreneur Prize), a specific application is generally required, to be submitted online before the current edition's deadline.
