Département des Landes

Departmental funder; distinguish direct grants, delegated areas of responsibility and funding carried by partners.

The Département des Landes has a documented scheme for business property aid, notably for industrial and craft production businesses. Property support is organised within a framework of delegated authority by the EPCIs. The applicable rules and agreement must be confirmed according to the territory, the nature of the project and the aid scheme. Other departmental support identified concerns notably agriculture, tourism, the social and solidarity economy and local authorities: it must not be presented as generic grants accessible to any business.

The presence of a scheme in the catalogue proves neither its current opening, nor eligibility, nor its legal link to the Département.

Industrial processing/packaging businesses and craft production businesses depending on the component; some local authorities or structures may be project owners. Criteria vary according to the scheme, the AFR (regional aid for the territory) zoning, jobs created, expenses and the local agreement.

Check size, sector, legal status, location, expenses, combination and submission date on the applicable official factsheet.

Property investment subsidy subject to conditions; sector-specific agricultural/tourism or ESS grants to be qualified separately; Initiative Landes honour loan = partner funding, not a direct departmental grant.

Distinguish grant, repayable advance, honour loan and employment aid; specify the operator that processes and pays.

First identify the exact scheme, obtain the current rules and form, then contact the processing department before committing any expense.

Starting early may jeopardise eligibility; keep proof of submission and the version of the rules consulted.

Business and Economic Initiatives Unit: 05 58 05 40 21 (according to the official page on property aid). Reconfirm the processing contact and the current form.

Contact to be reconfirmed on the official factsheet of the targeted scheme.

The cap of €160,000 and the per-job amounts come from an official page published on 29/01/2026; confirm eligibility and the rules applicable to the project. The catalogue links several property grants to the Département, but their scope may depend on each EPCI's delegation. Do not equate Initiative Landes with a departmental grant.

Does the Département fund all business projects?

No. Departmental schemes are limited by legal areas of responsibility and their own rules; general economic grants often fall under the Region or the EPCIs.

Is a grant in the catalogue necessarily open?

No. Check the status, the available budget, the dates, the criteria and the rules in force with the funder or the operator.
