Industrial Decarbonisation — DECARB IND 25 — 2nd Round
ADEME’s DECARB IND 25 call for projects supports industrial decarbonisation investments, notably energy efficiency, changes to the energy or materials mix, and carbon capture and storage; the timetable for the second round and the rules of the applicable version must be checked before applying.
DECARB IND 25 targets industrial investments that can significantly reduce a site’s emissions, whether through energy efficiency, a change of energy carrier or raw materials, or carbon capture. The procedure requires a well-supported technical and financial application, notably on the decarbonisation pathway and the expected gains.

Who can apply
The scheme targets industrial companies with decarbonisation investments on their sites. Conditions on size, sector, site and project maturity are set out in ADEME’s specifications and application documents.
Eligibility conditions
The application must demonstrate the expected emission reductions and describe the site’s decarbonisation pathway to 2030 and 2050. Depending on the project, ADEME requires in particular a timetable, energy studies less than two years old for certain investments, a feasibility study, a diagram of energy or material flows and the emission reduction calculations. For an application above €10M, an assessment of the company’s decarbonisation pathway is required.
What the scheme covers
The categories mentioned by ADEME include energy efficiency, changing the energy mix, changing the materials mix, and carbon capture, use or storage. The project must present the equipment and investment costs as well as the expected effects on emissions.
Amount and funding terms
The rate and cap depend on the investment category, eligible costs and the beneficiary’s characteristics under the DECARB IND 25 specifications. The official page sets stricter requirements for some applications, including an assessment of the company’s decarbonisation pathway when the aid requested exceeds €10M. The exact cap must be taken from the applicable specifications.
How to apply
Download the DECARB IND 25 specifications and the technical and technical-financial application forms. Prepare the timetable, the required energy or feasibility studies, the GHG reduction calculations and the site’s pathway. Check the currently applicable round deadline on the ADEME page before applying on the AGIR platform.
Timeline
The official DECARB IND 25 page indicated that the call would reopen in the first quarter of 2026 for a round in May 2026, but this alone does not confirm the current status of the second round. Check the up-to-date ADEME page and the actual closing date before treating the aid as open.

Frequently asked questions
Which investments are targeted?
Energy efficiency, changes to the energy or materials mix, and carbon capture, use and storage.
Which studies must be provided?
Depending on the project, notably energy studies less than two years old, a feasibility study, a timetable, a process diagram and the emission reduction calculations.
What happens if the aid requested exceeds €10M?
The official list of documents requires an assessment of the company’s decarbonisation pathway, of the ACT assessment methodology type.
Is the second round open?
The timetable must be confirmed on the up-to-date ADEME page; the mention of a round in May 2026 is not enough to establish the current status.
