Verification status
Partial check: the departmental real estate fund is confirmed by official 2025-2026 sources; some lines fall under EPCIs or partner networks and require verification of their attribution.
The business real estate aid fund
The Département explains that it has acted as operator since 2017 under a delegation of authority from the eight EPCIs. The inter-municipal bodies drive their area and identify projects; the Département supports, processes applications and funds the scheme. There are separate rules for very small businesses (TPE) and SMEs (PME), as well as a component covering derelict industrial sites (friches économiques). The precise terms depend on the applicable rules and the authority responsible for the project.
Forms of support to distinguish
The catalogue includes repayable advances, grants and conditional top-ups, as well as retail and craft modernization schemes and Initiative network honour loans. This is therefore not a single window where all aid can be combined. First identify the project's location, size, the type of expenditure and the managing network.

Confirming the relevant territory
Real estate aid is delegated by the relevant EPCI. Contact your communauté de communes or communauté d'agglomération to confirm that the project falls within the scheme's area and that the rules apply.
Defining the real estate project
Specify whether it involves new construction, an extension, a renovation, an acquisition or the takeover of a derelict site. Minimum expenditure, exclusions and continued-use obligations may vary depending on the TPE or PME component.
Anticipating jobs and environmental impact
Some bonuses assume job creation, retention of existing jobs or sustainable investments. Prepare a financing plan and the supporting documents required by the rules.
Do not start before confirmation
The rules may require that the application precede the start of investments. Have the eligibility date, the applicable aid scheme and the required documents confirmed before signing quotes or starting works.
Other schemes in the catalogue: retail and business creation
The Collective Modernization Operation (OCM), the OSCAR program and Initiative honour loans are linked to the Département in the catalogue, but their scope and management may depend on an EPCI, a territorial program or an Initiative association. Check the relevant municipality and the processing partner. Do not transpose the conditions of one area to another.
Does the Département directly fund all real estate projects?
The fund operates through delegation from the inter-municipal bodies. The Département processes applications and funds the scheme, while the EPCIs identify projects and drive their area. The relevant authority depends on the location.
Is the real estate aid a grant?
For several components, the main support takes the form of an interest-free repayable advance; bonuses or grants may supplement the aid depending on the conditions of the rules.
Can several schemes be combined?
Combining aid depends on the rules, national and European public aid rules, and the conditions specific to each program. Have the rules confirmed in writing.
Are the catalogue's conditions necessarily up to date?
No. Use the catalogue to identify leads, then check the latest version of the rules and actual availability with the processing body.
Sources and limits
The Département's official sources confirm how the real estate fund works and that the rules were updated in 2025. The other catalogue entries are linked to this funder via reference IDs; some concern EPCIs or honour-loan partners. This link does not prove direct funding by the Département.
