The Region targets an innovative business based in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, with at least €100,000 of cash equity and already generating some turnover. Who can apply
Innovative start-up based in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, with at least €100,000 of cash equity, a solution that has found its market and turnover already generated. The project must contribute to a regional sector or priority.
Eligibility conditions
The business must demonstrate its innovative nature, economic potential, a coherent financing plan and benefits for the region. Businesses whose main activity is consultancy, studies, IT services or training are not eligible. Only one acceleration aid can be granted during the start-up’s lifetime.
What the scheme covers
Team structuring, recruitment of management roles, commercial acceleration, development of new markets, funding of working capital and preparation of a fundraising round.
Amount and funding terms
Grant or public loan, depending on the review and the applicable aid regime. The Region does not publish a single flat amount for this scheme: support depends on the financing need, equity and resources raised.
How to apply
Complete the information form available on the regional page and send it to startup-region@nouvelle-aquitaine.fr with a Kbis extract and, if available, the latest accounts/tax returns, a presentation or business plan and a financial forecast. After an initial review, the Region may ask for a detailed application and arrange an interview.
Timeline
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. The Region announces initial feedback within 2 to 3 weeks, followed by a review and a vote by the standing committee. Allow at least six months between the application and payment.
