Ecodesign Studies for Products and Services
ADEME supports companies in all sectors with ecodesign studies, improving the environmental performance of products and services, implementing sustainable production actions and certain applications for the EU Ecolabel.
ADEME funds studies that help a company identify the environmental impacts of its products or services and move from assessment to ecodesign action. The scheme also covers certain applications for the EU Ecolabel, with separate specifications depending on the track chosen.

Who can apply
Companies in all sectors are targeted, in the regions covered by ADEME’s 2026 page. The project can concern a product, a service or an EU Ecolabel application.
Eligibility conditions
The application must match a track defined by ADEME and comply with the associated specifications. The study must produce a usable environmental assessment and, depending on the track, an action plan or the implementation of concrete improvements; the work must be carried out by a competent provider in line with the scheme’s requirements.
What the scheme covers
Services can cover the initial assessment, an in-depth impact study, implementation of ecodesign actions, tests under the NF X30-264 standard or support for the EU Ecolabel. Costs and deliverables vary with the specifications selected.
Amount and funding terms
The rate and eligible costs depend on the track chosen (first steps, in-depth study, test under the NF X30-264 standard or EU Ecolabel) and ADEME’s 2026 conditions. The official page does not give a single rate; read the specific specifications before calculating the grant.
How to apply
Choose the track suited to the company’s maturity, download the relevant specifications and select a provider meeting ADEME’s criteria. Prepare a description of the product/service, objectives, deliverables and the quote, then apply on the AGIR platform before committing.
