Who can apply
Tourism SMEs: structuring accommodation; furnished holiday lets; guest rooms. Not eligible: holiday villages and centres; integrated chain hotels; independent franchised hotels if the franchisee is not the owner-operator (the partners/shareholders must hold at the same time at least 80% of the shares of the operating company and 80% of the shares of the company owning the premises). Eligibility should be confirmed by the funder.
Eligibility conditions
The investment must be at least €1,000 excluding VAT (unless VAT is not recoverable). Expenditure must be made and justified within one year of the date the aid is notified to the business. An exceptional one-year extension may be granted on request. The official rules prevail.

Structuring accommodation: creation or renovation of a hotel or tourist residence; creation or upgrading of a campsite or innovative accommodation — campsite, residential leisure park (PRL), installation of light leisure dwellings (HLL) and innovative accommodation within a campsite or PRL; creation or upgrading of group accommodation. Furnished holiday lets: creation or renovation of a building. Guest rooms: creation, rehabilitation or improvement of a building. Not eligible: maintenance works; decoration. Amount and funding terms
A grant of up to 20% of eligible expenditure, up to €6,000 for structuring accommodation, €2,000 for furnished holiday lets and €1,000 for guest rooms. The aid can only be requested once every 2 years. Check the caps and expenditure accepted in the rules.
