Post-production Support for Cinema
The scheme is aimed at film production companies with French works or international co-productions: fiction, documentary, animation or experimental cinema. Services must be carried out in Île-de-France from the date of application. The Region’s guidance notes and rules set the caps, the financial file and the detailed criteria.
The Île-de-France Region’s post-completion aid supports the post-production of feature and short films that have already been shot, when they are intended for cinema release and their financing remains fragile. The previous session is closed; the Region announces the next registration window on 2 December 2026, from 9 am to 5 pm.

Who can apply
Production companies. The works must be intended for cinema release; works made only for television or the internet are not admissible.
Eligibility conditions
The Region requires a proven financing gap, a final or near-final picture edit and that the film has not been released. Financing already secured is subject to separate caps for features and shorts. At least 10% of the budget must be spent in Île-de-France. The 2026 rules and guidance notes prevail.
What the scheme covers
Post-production costs incurred in Île-de-France from the date of application. The precise nature of the services and their eligibility must be checked in the guidance notes of the relevant panel.
Amount and funding terms
The regional film guide indicates a cap of €55,000 for a feature film and €20,000 for a short film, determined according to post-production costs incurred in Île-de-France. Check the conditions and caps in the 2026 rules and guidance notes before drawing up a budget.
How to apply
Apply online on the e-service for the feature film or short film panel, only during the official window. Prepare the guidance notes, the film presentation form, the financial templates for the genre, evidence of financing and the required charter on the values of the Republic and secularism.
