Who can apply

Businesses being set up or developing, with fewer than five employees, meeting the tax criteria of a micro-enterprise. The main activity must be in retail, crafts, tourist entertainment or leisure activities, or services. The Region excludes, among others, health activities, liberal professions, associations, agriculture, fishing and aquaculture, export, goods transport and tourist accommodation.

Eligibility conditions

The project must fall within an authorised main activity and the business must have fewer than five employees. Investments made before the application is submitted are not eligible. The beneficiary must complete the project within one year of the advance being paid, maintain its activity in Guadeloupe for at least three years and declare the public aid received. A new application is only possible two years after the balance of a previous application has actually been paid. The ARDDA cannot be combined with the ARICE.

What the scheme covers

The Region cites the purchase of equipment or production machinery, fitting-out work on premises or the business vehicle, certain utility or specialist vehicles linked to the activity (excluding 4x4s), patents and operating licences, and goodwill. Activities and costs must be compared with the official list; investments made before the application is submitted are excluded.

Amount and funding terms

The Region indicates a grant capped at €10,000, calculated on the total planned investment, which must not exceed €25,000 excluding VAT. The amount actually awarded depends on the review of the application; do not assume the cap will be granted.

How to apply

Applications are made exclusively on the Guadeloupe regional aid portal; there is no paper form. The file includes in particular a cover letter, an identity document, the applicant’s CV and qualifications, a trade or crafts register extract less than three months old, the INSEE registration notice, tax and social security certificates, quotes less than two months old, a financing plan, proof of personal contribution, bank details and, depending on the situation, the articles of association, the lease or activity permits. The Region also provides templates for the financing plan and the de minimis aid declaration.

Timeline

The official page indicates an application period from 1 January to 31 October 2026. The announced deadline is 31 October 2026, so the window has now closed: check on the portal whether applications are still accepted and whether a 2027 period has been announced. The project must be completed within one year of the advance being paid and the activity maintained in Guadeloupe for at least three years.
