My Energy Savings Journey — Voluntary Energy Audit in Industry
The 2026 page is for micro-businesses, SMEs and mid-caps whose NAF codes appear on the eligibility list. ADEME favours an analysis that leads to concrete actions and may refer companies to PACTE Industrie to study changing the energy mix. Rates and caps depend on the edition and the financing conditions: they must be checked in the official document applicable to the application.
An industrial energy audit identifies the most costly areas of consumption, quantifies possible savings and prioritises investments. ADEME’s “Mon parcours économies d’énergie” can help eligible micro-businesses, SMEs and mid-caps fund this audit, notably when it helps decide between energy efficiency, heat recovery or changing the energy mix.

Who can apply
The scheme targets industrial micro-businesses, SMEs and mid-caps with an eligible NAF code. The list of accepted activities is provided in the application guide. Companies subject to a mandatory audit must check the exclusions and whether only a voluntary audit meeting the programme’s rules can be funded.
Eligibility conditions
Eligibility depends on company size, NAF code, audit scope and the 2026 conditions. The page specifies that a stand-alone audit is limited to cases where an opportunity study on changing the energy mix is not considered relevant during the review. A combination with PACTE Industrie may be considered if the energy study is combined under the applicable rules.
What the scheme covers
The audit analyses the energy consumption of the site, workshops and/or processes, operating conditions, equipment and uses. It identifies savings potential, reduction measures, estimated costs and payback periods. The deliverable must enable the company to prioritise actions and build an investment programme, rather than simply describing consumption.
Amount and funding terms
An ADEME page for an earlier regional deadline indicated rates of 50% for large companies (excluding mandatory audits), 60% for medium-sized companies and 70% for small companies, with a cost cap of €5,000 to €25,000. These values should not be applied automatically to any 2026 application: the 2026 national page refers to its own conditions and to the list of eligible NAF codes. Have the rate, cap and cost base confirmed before ordering the audit.
How to apply
1. Check the company’s NAF code against ADEME’s list. 2. Define the scope (site, workshop or process) and the energy data available. 3. Choose an auditor with the required skills, notably regarding the NF EN 16247-5 standard. 4. Request a quote and have the 2026 rates and caps confirmed. 5. Apply before the service starts, then use the results to prioritise investments.
Timeline
The 2026 national page indicates a period from 1 January to 31 December 2026. Financing terms and the list of NAF codes may be updated; check the current version and the availability of funds before commissioning the service.
