Start-up Innovation

Support takes the form of a grant or a public loan. The rate and amount are determined during the review; in general, the aid is capped at 45% of eligible costs, all public aid combined. The official timetable provides for an initial eligibility check, then the review and a vote by the standing committee; payment can take place at least six months after the application.

Nouvelle-Aquitaine’s Innovation Start-up scheme targets young innovative businesses developing a product or service based on a significant innovation. It can support a phase of industrial research or experimental development, for example to remove a technical barrier, significantly improve a product or prepare a first marketable version. It is aimed at R&D projects led by a business located in the region, not at ordinary consultancy or IT services.
