Who can apply
Subject to conditions, the aid can concern multi-stream organisations involved in the second life of products, notably companies, associations and circular economy players. The 2026 page covers in particular Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, Brittany, Centre-Val de Loire, Grand Est, Hauts-de-France, Île-de-France, Normandy, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Occitanie and Pays de la Loire.
Eligibility conditions
The project must concern equipment dedicated to the reuse or refurbishment of objects and materials that have been given away or discarded, excluding packaging. The applicant must justify the need, the expected volumes, how the equipment will be used and its contribution to the second life of products. The precise costs and conditions are set out in the official “Invest” document referenced by ADEME.
What the scheme covers
Investment can cover equipment to receive and protect products, sort, trace, test, refurbish or repair them. The application must show how this equipment increases reuse or repair capacity, and should not include general equipment or running costs without justification.
Amount and funding terms
The aid rate can reach a maximum of 60% of eligible costs. This is not automatic: the list of accepted equipment, the applicant’s conditions and the final calculation depend on the official eligibility and financing document. The budget must separate equipment dedicated to the second life of products from running costs and purchases not directly linked to the activity.
How to apply
1. Describe the products and materials concerned and the expected flows. 2. Define the collection, traceability, refurbishment and repair operations. 3. List the equipment with quotes and processing capacity. 4. Check the list of eligible costs and regional criteria in ADEME’s 2026 document. 5. Apply before ordering or installing, and wait for confirmation of funding.
