Who can apply
Two groups are targeted: individuals preparing an entrepreneurial project based on innovation, and companies in Pays de la Loire with fewer than 50 employees considered first-time innovators. The company must use external expertise to examine its project.
Eligibility conditions
The application must be referred by a member of the Pays de la Loire innovation prescriber network (Réseau de développement de l’innovation). You therefore start by having the need qualified by a prescriber, before ordering the service. Eligibility depends on the nature of the project and the applicant’s profile.
What the scheme covers
The scheme is used to validate a project’s feasibility: exploratory study, technical or economic expertise, clarifying an innovation problem and drawing on external expertise. It can concern a product, service, process, use or non-technological innovation. It should not be confused with support for deploying an investment already decided.
Amount and funding terms
The Region’s official page indicates a grant of 70% of the cost of the service including VAT, capped at €7,000 including VAT. For a company, the aid is paid directly to the service provider. These parameters should be checked in the applicable documents when preparing the application.
