Support for Feasibility Studies for Tourist Accommodation Projects
The current regional page distinguishes the opportunity study from the feasibility study and indicates funding of 50% of the cost of a feasibility study carried out by a chosen provider, under conditions. Beneficiaries include in particular collective accommodation, independent hotels, independent campsites, certain stopover lodges and refuges. The exact scheme and funding of the opportunity study must be confirmed with the Tourism Department.
Before committing to a major tourism investment, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region offers support to assess the project’s opportunity. The study covers the potential, the definition of the offer, the target customers and a first economic and financial approach. This scheme concerns specific categories of accommodation: furnished holiday lets and bed and breakfasts are excluded.
