Who can apply
Independent businesses established less than a year ago and carrying out property investment requiring a building permit. Businesses must have SME status. Large companies are eligible in the agri-food sector. Not eligible: financial services, banks and insurance; agriculture, fishing and aquaculture; liberal professions; trading companies (except local shops); trading companies (except agricultural trading); businesses in difficulty. Eligibility should be confirmed by the funder.
Eligibility conditions
Eligible expenditure must be at least €40,000 excluding VAT (€60,000 excluding VAT for agri-food businesses). The beneficiary must start the operation within a year of the award of the aid and complete it within two years; maintain the activity for at least 5 years; and finance at least 25% of eligible expenditure without any public aid. The official rules prevail.
What the scheme covers
Construction or rehabilitation of a professional building requiring a building permit; roads and utilities works linked to the construction or rehabilitation of the professional building. Not eligible: land acquisition; purchase of premises; fees linked to running the project; preliminary studies; compliance works; simple repairs or partial renovation; reconstruction after a loss; decontamination costs; construction or rehabilitation projects for professional premises that include a dwelling. Amount and funding terms
A grant of up to 20% of eligible expenditure for businesses with fewer than 50 employees; up to 10% for businesses with 50 to 250 employees; up to 40% for agri-food businesses. The Occitanie Region may top up the aid, up to a maximum rate of 70% of eligible expenditure. The aid can only be granted once. Check the caps and expenditure accepted in the rules.
