Eligibility conditions
Conditions listed in the catalogue: businesses must have their registered office in the territory of the Communauté de communes du Pays d’Uzerche, or at least a base there enabling them to operate (a secondary establishment, for example); be in a sound economic and financial situation, with positive equity, whatever their legal form; comply with all regulations in force, in particular employment law and tax and social security obligations; have turnover not exceeding €3,000,000; have a sales area not exceeding 400 m²; keep the aided investment for at least three years from the end of the operation; exclude the grant from distributable profits (no dividends paid out of the public grant); maintain jobs for 3 years (except in exceptional circumstances); and inform the works council (CSE) of the award of public aid within 3 months (where applicable). The project owner must bear at least 20% of the cost. Expenditure must be between €1,000 and €10,000 for productive equipment and between €2,000 and €25,000 for business property. This information should be checked against the official rules in force, notably for exclusions, combination of aid and tax and social security obligations.
What the scheme covers
Operations or expenditure mentioned: expenditure on fitting out or renovating a building as part of a takeover and, more broadly, all finishing works (floors, partitions, electricity, plumbing, shopfront, shop window, etc.); expenditure on buying new or second-hand productive equipment as part of a takeover — the equipment must have a unit cost of €100 excluding VAT or more; second-hand equipment is eligible provided it is sold by a professional (with proper quotes and invoices) and the seller provides a document certifying that it complies with applicable standards and has not already received public aid; equipment expenditure listed in the deed of sale of a business. Do not treat any expenditure as eligible without written confirmation from the funder, especially if it has already been committed or invoiced.
Amount and funding terms
Amount indicated in the catalogue: productive equipment: a grant of 40% of eligible expenditure, up to €4,000; business property: a grant of 30% of eligible expenditure, up to €6,000. A beneficiary cannot submit two economic aid applications in the same calendar year, nor an application under the same scheme in the year following a first economic aid award. The final amount depends on the recognised base, the caps and the funder’s rules; have these confirmed before building the financing plan.
