Support for Animation Project Development
The aid funds certain development costs: rewriting, graphic research, documentation, location scouting and prospecting for co-producers or broadcasters, as well as producing a teaser or demo reel. The project must incur a significant share of its costs in the Grand Est. Selection is not automatic: the application is reviewed and examined by a reading committee.
The Grand Est Region supports the development of animation projects for short films, feature films or series. The aid targets production companies that can obtain the required CNC approvals and whose project is of artistic interest for the region. The official page announces a maximum grant of €20,000, a 50% advance at the start and two application deadlines a year.
