Departmental Committee for Reviewing Business Financing Difficulties (CODEFI) — Interministerial Committee for Industrial Restructuring (CIRI)
The CIRI handles companies with more than 400 employees. Smaller companies can approach their departmental CODEFI. Their involvement can make dialogue with creditors and the review of solutions easier, but guarantees neither financing nor debt write-off.
The CODEFI (departmental committee for examining business financing problems) and the Interministerial Committee for Industrial Restructuring (CIRI) coordinate the review of complex financial situations to help companies develop solutions that secure their future. The level of intervention depends in particular on the company’s size and the nature of its difficulties.
