Aid for the pluralism of the regional and local press
It targets in particular weeklies published one to three times a week and more than 40 times a year, as well as other frequencies of four to forty issues a year. Publications must be registered with the CPPAP (Joint Commission for Publications and Press Agencies) and be of a political and general information nature.
The Ministry of Culture supports the single-copy distribution of the regional and local press to help ensure pluralism of information. The scheme concerns periodicals meeting the regulatory criteria, not daily newspapers.
