Who can apply
Businesses with fewer than 10 employees, with their registered office in the territory of the Communauté de communes Chalosse Tursan or with a production unit there (subject of the application), registered with the Chamber of Trades and Crafts, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry or the trade and companies register (RCS) or trades register; with revenue below €500,000 excluding VAT, except businesses located in one of the following 4 communes: Geaune, Hagetmau, Samadet and Saint-Sever. This figure applies per business, not per establishment where there are secondary establishments. Business stage: the aid is for business start-ups, provided they obtain an honour loan from Initiative Landes; takeovers; and developing businesses at least 2 full years old. Not eligible: micro-entrepreneurs; pharmacies; liberal professions; transport businesses; estate agencies; business services; engineering and consultancy firms; seasonal shops; wholesale; trading; shops with a sales area of more than 300 m².

Minimum investment must be €3,000 excluding VAT. The investment must be made within 1 year of the date of notification of the grant.

Modernisation works (renovation of shop windows and fronts, including signs; investment to enhance the interior of shops — floors, walls, ceilings, compliance upgrades, etc.); equipment to make businesses accessible to disabled people and people with reduced mobility. Not eligible: purchase of a business, commercial premises or land for building business premises; purchases by finance lease; labour costs for works carried out by the business for itself; garage and storage costs; IT equipment and software purchases; vehicles and rolling stock; consumables.
Amount and funding terms
A grant of 30% of eligible expenditure, up to €10,000. For businesses in the municipalities of Geaune, Hagetmau, Samadet and Saint-Sever: a grant of 30% of eligible costs for shops in the town centre and 20% of eligible costs for shops outside the town centre. This aid can be combined with other existing schemes. The grant can be awarded several times over 5 years, up to a maximum total of €10,000.
