ARME — Economic Restructuring Anticipation — Advisory Support

ARME – Consultancy aid funds, under the Normandy Region’s rules, external consultancy services to help struggling organisations draw up and monitor a consolidation plan. Eligibility depends on regional presence, the economic situation and the ability to document the application. The regional page is dated 31 October 2024: confirm the current terms before applying.

The ARME consultancy aid from the Normandy Region targets struggling or distressed businesses and economic associations that need specialist external advice to build and then monitor a consolidation or turnaround project. The Region requires in particular a site in Normandy, closed accounts, a documented situation of fragility and compliance with tax and social security obligations. The amount depends on the review of the application; the page consulted does not allow a single rate valid for everyone to be announced.

What the scheme covers

Specialist external consultancy services to define and monitor a consolidation and turnaround project. The advice must address the organisation’s difficulties and needs; have the scope of the assignment and the consultant validated before anything starts.

Amount and funding terms

The amount is set according to the project and the regional review. The page consulted does not give a universal scale clear enough to announce a single rate or cap. Obtain written confirmation from the Region of the eligible budget, the aid intensity, the applicable aid regime and the remaining cost to the business.

How to apply

Contact the Normandy Region’s Economic Change – ARME department before signing or starting the assignment. Prepare the closed accounts, evidence of the fragility, the debt position and payment schedules, a description of the consultancy assignment and quotes. Confirm the documents and the no-retroactivity rule with the reviewing department.
