Support for the Mixed Employment and Professional Equality Contract
This aid concerns private-law employers with no minimum headcount (companies, cooperatives, associations, temporary employment agencies) and professional organisations as employers. The operations cited in the catalogue are actions encouraging the diversification of jobs held by women or their promotion, on themes such as information, awareness-raising and training on workplace equality, recruitment, training, promotion and working conditions. Amount recorded: a grant varying with the actions, with a State contribution of up to 50% of equipment investment linked to changes in work organisation, 30% of pay costs for employees in training and 50% of other costs.
The aid for carrying out a contract for gender diversity in jobs and workplace equality aims to encourage the diversification of jobs held by women and their promotion within the company, in order to reduce inequalities between women and men at work. To find out whether your project may be concerned, look at the planned operations, your profile and the conditions described below. The catalogue information is an initial screening: the criteria, timetable and arrangements in force must be confirmed with the funder before any commitment.

Who can apply
Private-law employers with no minimum headcount, notably non-trading, commercial and cooperative companies, associations and temporary employment agencies; professional organisations as employers of their staff. Although it can also apply to public bodies employing staff under private-law conditions, the private sector is the main target of the scheme. End beneficiaries: only women can benefit from the eligible actions, although awareness-raising actions can also be aimed at men. Women covered by eligible actions may be jobseekers or already employed by the business, whatever their age and level of qualification. Their employment contract must be permanent or fixed-term for at least six months; they may also be on a temporary assignment of at least 6 months.
Eligibility conditions
The contract is concluded between the State and the employer, after consulting the nationally representative employee trade unions present in the company, if any (a model contract is annexed to the circular of 17 February 2012). It can only be concluded after: the signing of a collective agreement including exemplary actions for equality between women and men; or the adoption of a workplace equality plan; or the adoption of one or more measures promoting gender diversity in jobs. The application procedure is set out in the circular: the application is made by the business’s management, which must put together a file as set out in the annex to the circular of 17 February 2012. Eligible actions must be exemplary, as part of a collective agreement or, failing that, an action plan or actions promoting gender diversity in jobs.
What the scheme covers
Actions encouraging the diversification of jobs held by women or their promotion within the company. Eligible actions include in particular individual or collective actions on one or more specific workplace equality themes: information; awareness-raising or training on equality between women and men; recruitment; training; promotion; improving working conditions. Note: for more information on the nature of these actions, refer to the circular of 17 February 2012.
Amount and funding terms
A grant varying with the nature and content of the actions. The State’s financial contribution represents a maximum (excluding VAT) of: 50% of the cost of equipment investment linked to changes in the organisation and conditions of work; 30% of the pay costs borne by the employer for employees receiving training under and during the equality plan; 50% of other costs. Note: pay rises, however arranged, obtained by employees as a result of the actions are excluded from the aid. Combination rule: this aid cannot be combined with public aid for the same purpose. In particular, it cannot be combined with aid linked to a subsidised contract, which already provides public aid for training. However, the contract for gender diversity in jobs and professional equality between women and men can be combined with a subsidised contract to finance fitting out premises or workstations and internal information, awareness and training actions on professional equality.
