The Brittany Region’s CREA Livre – Publishing programme scheme supports professional publishing houses based in Brittany in carrying out their publishing programme. A specific increase is provided for certain works belonging to the women’s literary heritage (“matrimoine littéraire”).

Professional publishing houses based in Brittany, with their registered office and day-to-day activity in the region, meeting the regional criteria for professional status and distribution.
Eligibility conditions
The publisher must in particular publish at its own expense (not author-funded), have a regular publishing activity or derive more than a third of its turnover from it, obtain an ISBN and make the legal deposit, have appropriate distribution and not have already published the book covered by the application.

Eligible publishing costs under the rules: pay for authors and editorial contributors, reproduction rights, picture research, layout, manufacturing, printing and distribution, subject to the categories accepted by the scheme.
