Support for Exceptional Editorial Projects
The Region can fund up to 50% of the eligible costs excluding VAT of publishing the book, up to €15,000 per publishing house per year. The application must justify the exceptional nature of the project and how it fits the editorial line.
The CREA Livre – Exceptional publishing project aid is aimed at professional publishing houses based in Brittany that are publishing a book outside their usual publishing programme, of particular scientific, economic, cultural or artistic interest.

Professional publishing houses with their registered office and day-to-day activity in Brittany, with a regular publishing activity and appropriate distribution capacity.

Publication at the publisher’s expense, an author contract specifying the print run and pay, ISBN and legal deposit, a publishing catalogue and a distribution arrangement. Reprints, author-funded books and books already published are not accepted.
