Fuel Allowance — Support for High-Mileage Workers

According to the Directorate General of Public Finances (DGFiP), the aid for the period from 1 April to 30 September 2026 is €100. A new €100 aid covers the period from 1 October to 31 December 2026. People who already received the first aid do not need to apply again for the second: payment is announced automatically in mid-October. Others can check their eligibility and apply from 22 October 2026.

The fuel aid for “high-mileage” workers (grands rouleurs) is a flat-rate aid linked to work travel with a personal vehicle. The rules changed in October 2026: a second €100 aid covers the period from 1 October to 31 December 2026, with a higher income ceiling.
