Prevention grant for very small businesses – preparation area extraction (Assurance Maladie – Risques professionnels)

Amount or form of support: a grant of at least €500, covering 70% of the amount excluding VAT spent on equipment, training and inspection. Operations targeted: purchase or renovation of a ventilated preparation enclosure with downward vertical airflow (not to be used for spraying organic coatings such as primers, paints or varnishes), and training in upkeep and maintenance.

Preparation and cleaning operations can emit vapours from solvents, resins and fillers. This aid helps fund a ventilated enclosure that captures these emissions at source, as well as the inspection and training needed for its long-term use.

Who can apply

Companies with 1 to 49 employees under the general social security scheme, in all sectors, subject to the administrative criteria of the Assurance Maladie – Risques professionnels. They must carry out preparation or cleaning operations that generate vapours or aerosols

Eligibility conditions

The company must have 1 to 49 employees nationally, be under the general social security scheme, be up to date with its URSSAF contributions and have a single risk assessment document (DUERP) updated within the last year. It must meet the other administrative criteria of the Assurance Maladie – Risques professionnels, notably the rules on prevention contracts, injunctions or additional contributions, the occupational health service and de minimis public aid where these apply. The equipment and services must match the grant’s specifications. Check the detailed conditions on the official page before ordering or committing costs. The project must aim to capture vapours from solvents, resins or fillers during preparation and cleaning. The enclosure must have downward vertical airflow ventilation; it must not be used to spray organic coatings such as paints, primers or varnishes. For those operations, consider the dedicated paint booth grant instead.

What the scheme covers

Purchase or renovation of a ventilated preparation enclosure with downward vertical airflow; inspection of airflow and acoustic performance, lighting, electrical continuity and earthing; training in upkeep and maintenance. Enclosures used to spray primers, paints, varnishes or other organic coatings do not fall under this strand.
