Support for Brittany Publishers Participating in Events Outside the Region
The scheme funds certain transport, accommodation, book shipping, registration and stand costs for events consistent with the publishing catalogue. The publisher must be physically represented and be able to sell its books; simply attending as a visitor is not eligible.
The Brittany Region helps professional publishing houses based in Brittany take part in events outside the region, in France or abroad. The aid can cover up to 50% of eligible costs excluding VAT, up to €5,000 per publishing house per year; the application must be submitted four months before the first trip.

What the scheme covers
Taking part in events outside Brittany, in France or abroad. Attending an event as a member of the public (visitor) is not eligible. The publisher must be physically represented at the event and may not delegate its representation to another organisation. Eligible costs: transport and accommodation costs supported by an invoice or named ticket, corresponding exactly to the dates of the event and the place where it takes place; book shipping costs supported by an invoice; event registration fees (including catalogue) supported by an invoice; stand rental or construction costs supported by an invoice. Costs must be paid directly by the publisher on its own account. The official list of accepted costs prevails; costs not mentioned must be confirmed before any commitment.
Amount and funding terms
Grant of up to 50% of eligible costs excluding VAT, up to €5,000. The publisher may only apply for the aid once a year. The amount awarded depends on the cost base accepted, the caps and the review of the application; the announced cap is not a guarantee of award.
How to apply
