Aid for translating foreign books into French (CNL)
The catalogue indicates a grant of between €500 and €22,800. The aid covers the costs of translating foreign books into French; the amount actually granted depends on the project, the costs accepted and the review of the application.
The Centre national du livre (CNL) supports professional publishers wishing to publish in French a book translated from its original foreign language. The catalogue notes in particular a minimum length of activity and a minimum number of books in the catalogue. The detailed conditions, rights and session timetable must be checked before applying.
