Emergys Bretagne Incubator
The programme is run by Brittany’s seven technopoles and co-funded by the Brittany Region and the State. Financial support is capped at €10,000 for a project presented to a local committee and €25,000 to a regional committee. Feasibility studies can be funded at up to 80% of external costs, half as a grant and half as a repayable advance; certain training can be covered at up to 100% of external costs. Entry is through a technopole and selection by committee.
Emergys Bretagne supports innovative project holders and young businesses in turning an idea into a structured entrepreneurial project. For up to two years, a technopole helps consolidate the business plan, the team, the commercial strategy, intellectual property and the search for partners or funding. The scheme can also contribute to certain training and feasibility studies: the support itself is an essential part of the aid.

Who can apply
Holders of a project to create an innovative business, including projects arising from or linked to public research, and innovative businesses less than one year old. Support from a Brittany technopole is mandatory. Entry into the incubator is on the technopole’s proposal and after selection by a local or regional committee.
Eligibility conditions
The project must have potential for innovation, value creation and jobs. The technopole supports the project holder and qualifies the costs before presentation to the committee. Only eligible and validated external costs are taken into account; the cap depends on the committee level and the review of the project.
What the scheme covers

Eligible external costs may include legal, financial, marketing or commercial services, feasibility studies and certain training organised by the network.
